The thing that worries me is that this theme might be one of the last shows for NNN.

2 inputs:

The production design in my opinion should incorporate some or almost the same structures as the first PBN (17) he hosted. I know it's just a platform and drapes, curtains placed about like a teepee, but to me it would look welcoming in recreating that first setting where it all started.

There could be some previous guests who have contributed or left an impression to his 20 years with Paris By Night, like Hong Dao since they have recorded a few audio books together, and interacted on stage after some plays.

I second the idea of inviting Hồng Đào for this DVD. Aside from the audio books, they also MCed together for Paris by Night 36 in Houston. Maybe they should invite Mai Phương about the MC memories, who MCed with him and Kỳ Duyên in PBN32...

I totally agree the idea that TN should invite Hồng Đào and Quang Minh back ! Let Hồng Đào - Mai Phương - Kỳ Duyên host the show together is also a good opinion .

He didn't hint anything like that at 106. He just said he was honored they decided to have a show on him and was thankful. That was it.

Of course but what are the chances that he'll be in the show for the next milestone at 25 years? I hope he stays on for as long as he can but I feel as though there will be some kind of conclusion to his career a few years along this road.

It's a sad sight to see that he has to refer to note cards now because of his short term memory. I am also starting to see him beginning to slur as he speaks and mispronounce words.

I say we cherish his presence for as long as we can cause who knows when the day will come....

It is a comedy segment. Basically what happens is, one at a time, someone makes a toast comprised of some harsh words and phrases meant to attack and make fun of them. It is a big tribute, so people take it light-heartedly and enjoy the comedy, even if part of it is real to a small perspective. I don't know whether the Vietnamese crowd understands this kind of comedy.

I really do miss HLT, Thuy Tien, Quang Minh, Hong Dao and such being on PBN :(( Am I asking for too much?
